About Malmo

Malmö is Sweden's third city, a lively place with a population of about 255,000. In the 16th century, Malmö competed with Copenhagen to be Scandinavia's leading capital. In those days it was an important port, not far from rich fishing grounds. Today, the harbour is still busy and many of the old buildings remain.
